- Privacy and Confidentiality
- As a BASRT member I am bound by BASRT's Code of Ethics.
The very existence of a client/therapist relationship is confidential,
since it implies the existence of a sexual or relationship problem.
The obligation to maintain confidentiality continues after the therapeutic
relationship has ended.
- In the special circumstances of possible danger to the life or
safety of an individual, it is permissible for the therapist to consult
on the matter with other professionals without the consent of the client.
It is expected that the identity of the client will normally be protected,
but if the danger is clear and imminent, disclosures have to then be made
to appropriate family members, other professional workers and public
authorities.
- However, I cannot give a 100% guarantee of Internet and telephone
security by the operating companies or other users. It is the client's
responsibility to ensure that his/her own computer system is secure.
- Personal-Relationship.com stores information only as long as it
is necessary. If your personal information changes (such as your address)
or you no longer want to use one of our services to which you have subscribed,
we will provide a way to correct, update, delete or remove your personal data.
This can usually be done by you at the member information page or by e-mailing
our site administrator.
- Please remember that any information you reveal, including personally
identifiable information in a public forum such as in a discussion forum or a
chat, is not subject to this Privacy Policy and can be seen by third parties
unrelated to Personal-Relationship.com It is therefore important that you
carefully consider what information you disclose in these areas.

The Service may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other
World Wide Web sites or resources. Because Personal-Relationship.com
has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree

or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or

- Exclusions and limitations
I am unable to accept clients who are under 18 years of age

Counselling and supervision originates from the United Kingdom and
shall be governed by the English law.
- Disclaimers
- You acknowledge your own risk factor and understand and
agree that you are prohibited from bringing any action at law
or otherwise, against Personal-Relationship.com for counselling
or supervision provided.
- Any decision made or action taken by you, as a result of
counselling or supervision, is at your own risk and remains your
own responsibility.
- Personal-Relationship.com does not accept any liability or
responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury whatsoever suffered,
nor for any action or inaction by you, consequent upon any counselling
or supervision which you have received.
- Guarantee
- It is inevitable that, from time to time, communication may be
affected due to external forces. This includes the non-function of ISPs,
power cuts and damage to telephone lines. If such an event occurs, then
neither party will be held responsible for loss of service or actions
resulting from loss of service. Where one party is the source of a
breakdown in communication, the responsibility for rescheduling missed
appointments will fall to that party ; appointments will be rescheduled
accordingly.
- Personal-Relationship.com does not guarantee that the site or
its operation will be reliable, accurate, uninterrupted or problem free.
Personal-relationship.com reserves the right to change or discontinue at
any time any feature or aspect of the website.
- Medical
Online therapy is not a substitute for appropriate
medical advise. It is the client's responsibility to
be examined by their medical practitioner and inform
him/her of their decision to undertake online sexual and
relationship therapy. Always seek the advice of a doctor
or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions
you may have regarding physical or psychological health conditions.
- Fees
- Fees are subject to change without notice, but will not change whilst
a contract is in place.
- Refunds are not usual policy, but complaints will be
considered fairly. However, any sessions which have been paid
for in advance, but remain unused will be refunded or credited
if requested within 90 days of the order being placed, or of
the last session date. No refunds will be given after 90 days.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, and
except in respect of death or personal injury arising from
Personal-Relationship.com negligence, Personal-Relationship.com
hereby excludes liability for any claims, loss, demands or damages
of any kind whatsoever with respect to the Service, and any information,
content, advertisements or products provided or distributed through the
Service including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental or
consequential loss or damages, whether arising from loss of profits,
loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of use or otherwise and whether
or not the possibility of such loss has been notified to
Personal-Relationship.com. The foregoing will apply whether
such claims, loss or damages arise in tort, contract, negligence,
under statute or otherwise. If you are a consumer your statutory
rights, if any, are not affected.
